too wide. Your fender will crash down on them on every bump. You will also rub pretty good on turns unless you can find a 20x8. Even then you'll still rub.

[[/B][/QUOTE]it was somewhere between 3.25 and 3.5" up front, along with 3" blocks in the rear. (as S/T Lover said)

What if i only go 3" in the front and take the flares off? And keep with just the 3" leafs in the back?

worst case scenerio: you hit a bump, catch your tire on the fender, shread the $300 tire, it blows out, ride on the 20in rim until you stop, buy new rim and tire, repeat.

Dubs, its a waste of your time to run a 20" tire on a 1st gen lowered.. Especially a 255/35/20.. John has a picture of my tires rubbing and I was at 235/65/17 which is smaller than a 255/35/20, so you are defenately going to rub.. and do you REALLY want to rub with a 250+ dollar tire??!?!? I wouldn't want to.. Get some 18's and go with a 215/45/18 or 225/45-18

Actually the 255/35/20 is almost 2 inches shorter than the 235/65/17 but a good bit wider.

If my 20" are 2" shorter than the 235/65/17 then would n't that give me a biger gap between the fender and the tire? Oh and how long did you keep your 235/75/15 on for? and did you have any problems with them?

I'm hoping that there is some thing i can do to get the 20" to work!!

blocks are less than $30.. usually closer to $20 if you look around. Leafs (which last time I checked were on backorder from Belltech...) are much more expensive. For a mild drop like 3" I doubt you will notice any difference in ride quality. If you just do blocks in the back, you do NOT need shocks in the rear. Leafs give you more options because in the future, you can add blocks to the leafs for extra drop. You COULD add leafs to a block setup.. but it sucks to spend that much money the second time around :bigthumb:
