    V8 Exhaust

Well today, I took the truck to the exhaust shop. I'm waiting for him to call me back and give ma quote. I started it and pulled it off the trailer, then it stalled after I parked it... I don't think it had enough fuel. Dumb oxygen sensor.
He told me it sounded like a John Deere tractor :p:
I'm only having him route the exhaust to before the bed, then I'm putting my 4 mufflers on myself.
It better not be over $400, or I'm going to be fucking pissed.
Anyways, I'll get a video of it running and maybe a burnout video if you guys behave yourselves.... :bigthumb:

You guys failed to behave yourselves. :nono:

    Guy called.
Said driver side manifold isn't possible to hook up the exhaust to. :(
He said his buddy has a manifold that will work on it, so he's going to call me back.
What do you guys recommend? Should I just replace the manifolds with some headers?
I figured I should get different heads if I'm going to go that far too... :(

I'm worried that I'll have to take the engine out and fuck with the cab in order to get them in there more. Taking out that engine is not fun when I have EVERYTHING back where it goes :nono:

    OK
My friend's dad has a friend who is selling his v8 headers for like $60. Gonna get those.
How hard is it going to be to install them?
I hope the driver's side clears the steering rod since I have the engine back 1" farther than stock.

2 Glasspacks (resonators) and 2 2006 mustang mufflers.
I fucking hate loud exhaust, and I'm not going to deal with it on my truck.
If it's too quiet, I may end up taking the glasspacks off. But I'm going to see how I like it first. I'm picky about my exhaust.

I'm not even sure if headers will fit on my passenger side since the A/C blower thing is so huge...

Just went and got a new oxygen sensor, plus I adjusted the timing and it's actually running good now, it's not flooding and it doesn't bog down when I put it into gear. I think one of the rubber nipple plugs I put on the vacuum lines coming from the throttle body - it dry rotted somehow and was leaking air I believe. What do I use to plug vacuum holes? I purchased the rubber plugs from autozone and they dry rotted in 4 months...
