    my remote mount turbo build

    hey yall havent been on this forum in a long while. since gone i have sold my nitrous in favor of a boost situation.

    the set-up-
    rear mounted garrett t3/t4 60trim turbo
    turbonetics evolution wastegate
    turbonetics MBC
    Greddy BOV
    FMIC
    methanol
    machperformance FMU/inline fuel pump
    custom turbo tune from hellsbent10 over on s10forum.com

    dont have many pictures- cause havent gotten much done yet but here is what i got

    did you think about overheating at all. since the fan will now draw through the intercooler as well as the radiator and condensor. just a thought. should be pretty cool when your all done :bigthumb:

    yes- i am thinking of converting 2 ls1/lt1 electrical fans pulling then getting a single 10" pusher fan for right on the intercooler.

    turbo setup in s10 now. still tunning on 9lbs 9.19 at 147.

    so how do you plan on properly fueling the motor, because an fmu is not a good idea.

    id suggest a 2114 intake conversion to fuel a boosed app

    also why are you running a front mount on a remote mount turbo. the idea behine the remote mount is more space and less engine heat

    mach performance FMU/inline fuel pump have been able 2 supply 320+whp. and i will be running meth. i dont have the funds for the $1500 conversion although it is my next project

    cooler air=less chance of detonation. this is my dd im taking every percaution.

    UPDATE-
    got some intercooler piping done 2night- + got my AEM wideband and ordered my turbonetics evolution w/g should be here 2moro. These will all be welded 2gether in the final project.

    Looks good so far. But where are you mounting the turbo itself? I had to get rid of my windshield washer reservoir just to fit my intake in.

    And where are you getting the headers?

    its a rearmount turbocharger system. stock headers/y-pipe..... 4now.
