    rear disk?

    What year did GM start putting disk breaks on the rear of the 4x4 S-trucks?

    i beleive its 98 plus..

    Just called my hookup at the local salvage yard. He's got a rear end out of a 99 complete with rotors and calipers. $150.

    Not bad but it'd B better if it was a ZR2 so U don't need spacers N E more and there diff is bigger/stronger.

    Don't your front rims stick out farther than your rears?

    Well the fronts dont stick out but the front wheels have a wider track than the rears. But if I was to space the rears out they would rub.

    if the rear is from a zr2 4x4 truck is will be 63" from mounting surface to mounting surface, 4" wider than the 4x4 first gen rear and 8" wider than the 2wd first gen rear.
    1993 2wd 4.3l 5speed - lowered a little - other than that its stock - for now.

    1988 s-10 blazer 4x4, belltech lowered 3", 99 dp front brake upgrade, completely rebuilt suspension with poly bushings - sold
