    people will get them for an upgrade from a poor ignition system (old cars) or they will get them for a rev limiter, or get them to look pretty.

    so not a huge performance upgrade ill stick with stock for now or untill i hit 100000 miles

    Below 3000 is the only time the MSD multiple fires the plugs and that motor convertor combo stalled at 5500

    The real benefit IMO is MSD probably keeps the plugs cleaner if your mixture is off some what.


    I really like the soft touch rev limitor feature on the 6AL

    There will be no noticable difference putting an msd ignition on a stock truck,Even on a dyno the results would be less than braggable I bet. Unless you want to have one for looks to say lookie what I got I would save your money.

    do they sell rev limiters seperate? or am i gonna have to buy a new box for one.



    btw, i did notice a sliiiiiight differnce in throttle response when i had it on my 4.3(talking 3 hp at the MOST here)

    lt1's have a factory rev limiter, why not just use that one

    reve limitor is built in and should be ajustable with a programmer capable of changing shift points
