Dunno what a super v6 will give but that v8 should be good for mid 20's mpg and enought to blow past 3/4 of the cars on your daily commute:bigthumb:

I am pretty sure that most people are going to tell you to go with the V8. It seems to be the better choice if you are even considering it.

    boost > *

its weird at nats the boosted 6's were running better then most of the ls1 swapped s-series

    :bigthumb:

nothing striks fear in the hearts of others like a noisy supercharger.

but im kinda in the same boat as you ive got a built 4.3 sitting in the garrage waiting to go in the blazer, and i keep thinking about doing a 350 tpi swap just beacause it would sound good and could produce more torque then my rear end could handle

then again ive got a supercharger project on the back burner

Maybe, why Im asking I found a beat up but good running GTA with a tune for 1000 bucks so its under half the cost for a supercharger

the 4wd is a little bit different swap, as you need a special pan.

what part of the country are you in and are you keeping the 4WD for winter?
