what size where the tires you took off?
They were my old winter tires *Edit* before I slammed it

    235/70/R15

I now run 225/60/R15 on the same rims in front

I have 245/60/R15 in rear and they are freaking huge compared to my spring/summer 18's that also have 225s on them

thats why they are rubbing. 235/70/15 is a balloon of a tire. that thing is 28'' tall.

like i said, you can tuck, and daily drive a 245 up front.

Thats your problem like Kyle said. Height, not width.

Especially having a 2nd gen. The bodies are wider. More room for more tire.

I've got 255/35 on the front of my truck. Minimal rubbing at full lock, and they're tucking too.

My trucks pretty low for having a static drop. If my truck wasnt as low, I think I could easily run a 275 and keep it even with the fenderlip. But Id need a 9" wheel, same with an 11" out back. But those arent very common in 18" wheels, and are usually custom. ($$$$$$)

my problem is I cant have to low of a profile or I will sit lower to the ground and to high like mentioned before I rub

I have not measured it but I know that I can not fit a Soda Can under my body with 225/60/R15 and 225/40/R18

also to add, a 235/70/15 tire is taller than a 245/30/22. give you an idea of how huge that tire is

yeah, but if you are talking about that on a 17x8 up front. i would recommend a 245/50 INSTEAD OF that one. same sidewall height, and a little bit wider, which it will fit.

check out this link, it will really help you get use to tire sizes. CLICKY
