    Spare tire problem

ok so i put all this money in the truck so it runs smooth.. and now the only noise i got is the freaking spare tire. Every time i hit even a little bump it sounds like i got a dying cat on the back of my truck. I have to put the volume up so i dont have to hear it. But i dont want to do that. Anybody got and pointers?

Take the spare tire, then the whole spare tire rack off.... Shave it off. :bigthumb:

I was lazy about it and folded up a shop rag then jammed it between the bump stop and plate.

I didn't loosen anything. I swung the tire open then held the rag where the bump stop hits then swung the tire rack shut. It was a bitch to get latched though.
