My understanding was that if it broke new you got a replacement as NOONE at the chevy dealerships were trained to work on them. I believe it was built in colaboration with Lotus. I'm sure when the warranty ran out on these cars they became the delorean noone wanted.

Does anyone know if the v8 conversion parts they sell ( JDR) are different than parts needed for a LS1 motor. Like the headers and motor mounts and oil pan? I wanna put one in a 1998 4wd 4 dr.

    I think you mean JTR.

scroll through it and the only LS1 stuff is for 2wd.

and an LS1 is significantly different than your normal small block. The oil pan is cast aluminum so you don't just carve it up and weld it back together.

JDR, lol I was being ghetto I guess, Jags Dat Run.

I've done a 2wd S10 with a vette LT1. But, I bet that is not the same set up as the Ls1 huh?

LS1blazer has done either a 4wd or AWD with a LS1. He had it at the S-nats but I didn't get to see it cause about the time I got over to talk to him at his booth, it started raining and I was trying to keep the amps on the twin truck protected nad he was packing up literature

People have been having issues even getting him to ship copies of his swap manual as of late.

I am not sure if his latest manual includes that project.

I was over on s10 forum, he is back, apparently he was having trouble with his burner, but he is back to running.
