    20" on 1st gen

I have a 85 2wd blazer(s10) that has a metal drop of 2"in front from belltech spindels. And 2" rear from blocks. What I'm trying to do is run a set of 20" wheels and tires. I'm currently running a set of 16x8 Kmc "big alice" with 2" adapters, on 245/50/16's. they set flush with the fender, they do not stick out or tuck in. what size tire and offset on the wheel , will I have to use to get the same results as using the 16" wheel combo? or will the 20's have to set in aliitle? What 20" tire could I use( 245, 255, 235/ 35, 40, 45, possibly even a 50 series. Truck has a 350 v8 so front sets about 3" instead of 2" in the front. Thanks to all who respond, if possible could someone post a few picks of 1st gen on 20's.:smoker:

You will need a 20 x 8.5" wheel with a 4.5" backspacing and a 255/35/20 tire. They will sit a little inside the wheelwell. You can run a small spacer if you like, but it will probably grab.

My buddy has the above combo in his 82 V8 s-10 and it looks bad ass.

what will it grab? the lower control arm or ball joint. or the inner fender lip. with the 20x8.5 set up and 255/35-20 will it be a decent setup for a daily driver.

The tire will grab the fender on big bumps.

The tire size is a common size so it is cheap & there is a decnet side wall for a daily driver.
