Lightbulb i know i'm gonna get my ass kicked for this...

alright i've been looking around the forums again but i can't seem to find the exact size i've been told of. i don't know if anyway on the forums have tried this tire size or the guys at Tire Pros, Rydell Automotive, Sound Waves and Extreme SoundWorks are just yanking my chain. anyway would it be possible to put 265/50-R20 on Boss 304 20" rims with a 3/4 drop? or can i only put 255/45-R20? either or, would i instead have to do a 2/3 drop? let me what are my options... i would rather much wrap my 304's with Nitto 420s 265/50-R20 on a 3/4 drop... but let me know....

sidewalls will be too tall, and the tires too wide either way you go.

    i agree with banginjimmy

a 265 50 is pretty damn big... by that i mean 30 inches big

I run a 285 40 22 on my fullsize Supercrew and that is 31 inches and fits perfect, i cant imagine trying to fit that big of a tire on my blaze at stock height let alone on a drop

my blaze is dropped around 4 5 and im running 245 40 17s which are about 25 inches overall.

I think most guys with 20s are running a 45 series tire with a height in the mid 20 inches (25-27)

255/35 is the most common size tire for our trucks on 20's. I have seen people use 245/40 I believe it was on a 3/3 drop and they didnt have too much trouble with rubbing.

    Doh'
    I meant 40 but typed 45

I really though you 20 guys were running higher profiles then 35s
The pics i see appear to have decent sidewall
    Hmm whoda thunkit.

either way... 265 50s would be good for a slightly lifted 4by4

more to just show the height difference between some 30-35 series and the 40-45-&50 series tires, i think mine are like 28.5 in. tall when sitting on the ground

i'm also bodydropped so i pulled anything that was in the way
