    headers?

    has anybody used the three piece headers to get around the steering arm? has anybody heard anything bad about them?
    85 S-10 blazer pearl caddy Red
    2wd 3"/3"
    billit grill, smothie bumper, front air dam with fog lights, roll pan, euro tail lights,clear coners and bumper lenses, shaved roof rack, 18" chrome rims, JL system, little interior work

    not sure which ones but some one told me there was a three piece one that works good with the blazers...which ones have all of you guys used any recomdations?

    Sounds like a leak waiting to happen. You do not have to remove the shaft to install the headers. You do have to separate it from the steering box, but that is it. The header will slide right in there...no other modifications are needed. I have done this twice with 2 different brands of headers. One set were the 1 1/2 primaries(patriot)and the other set is my 1 3/4 primaries(Sanderson).

    I dont know your reasoning behind wanting something like that..but I dont see how a 3 piece header would be easier than the 5 minutes it takes to remove the shaft from the sector?
