Question Oil Pressure Low?? Why...? Please Help!!!

    I have a 1996 chevy blazer 2wd 4.3 vortec miles 123.124?
Ok changed my oil pump 3 months ago,
    pressure was fine.
Now i am having the same problem could it have gone bad again?
My gage says its a zero and check gages light comes on,when i am at a stop, but when i accelerate goes up to almost half but
but when i stop again the same any ideas?
change the oil sensor unit thing today and its just plain worse.
I checked the other post from the past but no help.

Anyone got any ideas of what it could be?

    Many thanks mike.

    ]
This is what i have done so far, since i bought it used.
Fixed breaks wrong break shoes when i bought it. Which destroyed the rotors.
Fixed camshaft.. Engine Mounts, breakbooster,Oil pump, master cylinder,Heatercore,Ac motor,....dealer wanted to put one in for 800buck i just laughed..so i got a used one, Abs light was on, oil sender thing..
And now this damn oil gage reads zero and the check gages light comes on and flashes at me. But when i hit the gas it goes away, but soon as i stop back to zero...
I just dont know this blazer is makeing me sick.

Low oil pressure has nothing to do with your leaking valve covers.

I had a similar problem with mine, but not that bad. mine would do it when i would run 93ocatin gas in it, and drive for a hour. I guess with the better gas it would allow the motor to idle lower:confused:

If i was you i would get a mechanical gauge and see what it says.

Could be a loose, broken or mis-positioned pick-up tube, that will cause a headache or two.

Make sure when you installed your new sensor it was tight, or well not leaking any oil around it.. Alot of times ill wrap some line tape around any lines especially oil pressure lines to make sure the oil doesnt blow through the threads. Sounds to me like its in your cluster/gauge because if it was the sensor the gauge needle would bounce around or go up real quick when you accelerate.

One way to make for sure that it does actually have good oil pressure is if you have a mechanical gauge laying around with about say 3 feet of oil pressure line, hook it up then see what that tells ya. I dont trust electric, never accurate.

Ok changed the oil pressure sensor and it helped a little it stayed up to the first 2 lines on my oil gage.
But now i have another problem when i shut the engine off i hear a hissing sound from the center of the engine, it right next to that hose that goes to the break booster, it sounds like its coimg from that little box dont know what it is called i will take a picture 2marrow its late.
And also hear a buzzing sound from the drivers side it sounds like the fuel pump when you first turn your key, to start your engine, but it doesnt go away under the drivers side also.
    Now what could it be?
Any ideas thanks for all your time everyone.

This is how my oil gage reads... check the picture out

First when i turn my key it starts out 40 but after the engine warms up it drops down to what you see in the picture then the check gages light comes on.
Still dont know what to do?

I think it is electrical, go spend 10.99 on a mechanical gauge hook it up then see what you are dealing with, you are probly spending good money after bad fixing some thing that is more than likely not the problem. I have a 96 with 180,xxx and my oils psi sits at 40 @ idle then goes to 2-3 marks below 80 when on the gas. I f you have that muck of an oil psi problem chances are your motor would be toast. Does it seem like it still has good pick up? if so its not a oil psi problem.
