    bagging a bravada

    OK i got a 2001 bravada can someone give me a detailed description of what i need to do to bag it i want to start with the rear but i want to know what i need to do it and some pointers on how to i dont care if i have to rip the 4x4 components out i jus want to lay frame or get damn close. so any links to parts and info on how to do it would be greatly appreciated.

    i have done some searches and it seems like your the guy that would know how to do this. but i dont understand is there a difference between 4x4's and AWD and i havent really seen anything real descriptive for bagging a bravada

    I went extreme on mine, there are few different way of doing it. You can keep the 4x4 but i wouldnt keep it and lay frame.

    yea i understood how they work i ment is there any diffrence in frame setup or anything but im guessing theres not thats why i was getting confused i saw links for 4x4 but i wasnt sure if its the same chasis setup as awd but thanks for the links not sure im gonna be able to tackle this one alone so gonna have to find some help. and i have no problem getting rid of the awd and just going 2wd just dont really know how

    I will get you some pics of a part we are developing right now. It will allow anyone to bag a 4x4 blazer with minimal tools. 95% bolt on. Still in the works right now it is a one off kit but plans are to produce them if the need is there. It is a front only kit.

    swap a 2wd frame and save yourself. i slammed my 86 and had nightmares, i needed to go lower than i could without serious metal fab.

    Damn is that first pic a syclone? i would never do that to one of those! also that kit is a porkchop kit and it is used to lift a 4x4 with bags

    90 BLAZER 4.3 4x4 dropped 7" fully shaved with full size chevy tails, 98 Honda accord ground effect, 2 inch cowl hood, truxarossa grill and mirrors, metal flake and yellow flamed paint job, molded wing, too much to list( back under construction! new front end to come... out with the fiberglass back with the metal!)

    There is no way I would run something liike that! Think about it the torsion bar is a spring, you are trying to twist a spring with another spring. I wouldn't think it would have a good ride at all.

    i think thats a cool idea, i dont know what the advantages/disadvantages are though.
