aight looks like i came to the right place for this question, you guys seem to know your shit when it comes to high performance, ive actually been more of a custom body and bagged type guy i just got into the high performance. i have a 383 in my blazer now, i was looking at putting a supercharger on it but then i see a pic of yours with the blower and thats what i thought a supercharger was, but the question is what is the difference between the blower and the supercharger? whats the difference in power? and which one gets the big ass scoop sticking out of the hood?
i know i prolly sound retarded asked all this but i wont know unless i ask

a blower is a supercharger......there are diff. sizes of blowers (superchargers) and diff setups....if you look earlier in the post he showed the first one he had and it was smaller than the new one

blower is the arguably the same as a supercharger. both use power from the crank to make a positive pressure in the intake.

The blower that stick out the hood are generally a "roots" style, with intermeshing lobes to move a large volume of relatively lower pressure air.

The other style is more of a fan style (think of it a a belt driven turbine) great if you want to keep a low profile hood.

Yeah not much action lately. I got the dual 750 AED blower carbs and I'm piecing together the pulley setup on the front. I'll have some new pics soon. The bed is off the truck and being mocked up for the Ford 9" and ladder bar subframe.

on your ladders bars make sure you have the kind the have the strap around the rod end (or add a strap) since the forces are not in a straight line on that rod end.

It may clunk but it will keek you rear under your vehicle.
