    How do you do throttle linkages like that?

    HAHAHAHAHA..............i think he putting the motor as low as it will go using the sleath(JTR) motor mounts so it should clear it hood....lol

    You dont...lol. I had to set the front carb on backwards cuz it wouldnt sit flat for the pic. I had to get some 1" phenolic carb spacers so the linkage would clear the blower.

    Sorry guys, I suck at updating this thread. I got the motor all done and fired it up on the engine stand for a few seconds (cant run it too long without water going through it). I started to lose interest in the project until the beast came to life now I'm all excited again and started ordering more parts. I WILL FINISH THIS TRUCK:evil:

    now come the expensive part, getting in in the truck and functional enough to actually use.

    This is when you find out about cooling, fuel pressure, rear end strength, tranny and stall or clutch, etc. etc. etc.
