It will sit alot lower than 4". My sonoma has the same setup with the bumpstop mounts chopped off & the frame lays on the axle. It needs about a 1" notch to rail.

Well, never though I'd say this, but I'm going to buy a set of air shocks so I can notch my frame and still be able to drive around. One of these days I will find the time to bag the ass of my truck.\
Oh BTW- I have decided on a 2 link cani.

Where the hell are you getting 230psi from? I have a big ass Blowjax compressor for my bags that will put out 180psi. The tank i'm using is only rated at 125psi so thats that I stop at. If I can only put 120psi or so in these air shocks, how much lift can I get?

I have a friend with a blowjax that puts out around 220-230psi. It takes forever to get that high though, and I'm sure it's not too good for it.

Your tank won't blow up if you put 25-55 more psi in it, it should hold double the rated psi safely and you will get alot more play time out of the extra psi.

My tank has 150psi (I run 165psi) stamped on it but friends with the same tank push theirs well beyond that to 300psi using nitrogen.

i have the same compressor as you,. just let it run, then run some more it will go to 230. at 120 psi in a blazer you wont get but a centimeter of lift if that, but it makes a difference when u hit bumps., 160 is a good smooth ride height. it never bottoms out at 160. i ran 1/2 lines over the fittings on the airshock and hose clamped them on, works fine for being the cheap way out. just make sure u get Gabriel Hijackers cause they have a warranty, and give u the most lift, i get back to stock(desert jumper) height in the back :)

Get bags...at least on the front. There is too much weight. I have seen 4-wheel airshocks back in the day on mazda b2200's, hardbodys, and toyota pickups. That is only because they all have small motors.
