    Lamborghini Style doors

I want to know how I can do this to my truck. Is there any type of kit that makes my doors open this way?

That truck is 100% custom. I know which one you're talkin about, I saw it in Carlisle. He even has all of the hinges hidden (and motorized) so that its hard to copy. Start thinkin of your own setup.. because I dont think there is a kit for it.

There are kits for cars, so I figured they'd be able to adapt them to trucks.

I see these kits for ricers all the time, I've seen a few hondas like that.

If you can't find a kit that's right then custom is the only way. But that's what makes a custom vehicle custom right..?

correct me if you want but arent the gullwing doors the ones that open from the roof, dileorean style, that setup would be easier than laborgini as all you'll need would be hinges to mount on the inside of the roof, and some heavy duty linear actuaters to support it, another cool method is putting the finges on the a-piller and runnig the actuaters but the only bad thing with that is the hinges are visible from the outsside of the piller so that way the door opens up diagnol

if you drive it every day i wouldnt do it. you have to think youll be gettin in an out through out the day and it will start to be more of a pain than its worth. if its for show and a little driving then id go for it.

Yeah those are lanbo style. This is a '55 gullwing, what my dad used to have-

The lambo doors have 1 big pivot hinge and a gas strut. It would be relatively easy to make the door open like that if you could find that pivot hinge. The hard part is getting it to close just right and seal shut. I've never seen a an after market kit for that before.

I'm sure it's hard to say since the kit isn't finished yet...but what are you estimating the cost at?
