    The driveshaft will have to come up into the crossmember right where they have the tabs.

    That is if I am looking at it correctly.

    yeah....all of the old 4-link will be gone...there will be a whole new rear set up. The only thing he has done so far is cut out the back sheet metal and install the notch. I was asking opinions on the notch for now.

    In the first pic of post 48 the welds look a little cold, they look like either the edges of the tubing werent beveled or the weld just didnt penetrate. They look like theyre just sitting on the surface of the metal. Mabey ask him how he prepared the edges to be welded? Most of the other welds look fine tho.

    Thanks for the comment. Is the weld unsafe or is it a case of could be better?
    I want to make sure his work is solid but i dont want to be too critical unless it is really needed.

    Yeah im sure he will stand behind it. You should cruise over and check it out. Were in Norco. hit me with a PM and I will give you my #. I will be down at the shop later today, Fri. and Sat. Im changing the valves and working on the interior.

    Its more of a case of it could be better. Most people probably looked at it and didnt think twice but me being a welder i just like to see proper beads.
