    Removing the roofrack

Okay, I just removed my roof rack today.. and I noticed that there are 8 inserts that the screws bolted into, for the main structure of the roof rack... How do those inserts come out?

Okay thanks, I shall do that this weekend.. if I've got time.. hopefully I do.. I moved the truck today for the first time in about 2 months.. Dead battery, and either a cracked block, or blown headgasket.. and the rear main seal is leaking... Idles like a cammed V8... sadly, it's a 2.8L.. I'm gonna do an engine swap soon... so yay.

The Nutserts... are they welded to the body? I understand that it's a rivet.. but.. would it be easier to remove them from inside the truck or the outside?
