    Question fiberglass filler plates?

    my father inlaw is doing my filler plates for the antenna and rear wiper.he wants to fiberglass them (mat and resin) then skim coat it with bondo till smooth.is this a good option or should i make some filler plates(metal) and weld them in?my main question is will the fiberglass hold up as well as the metal filler plate??????? please help or it will be to late lol

    Metal and weld.
    The fiberglass will work but over time I am sure it will eventually crack.


    The bitter after-taste of a poor quality job will last far longer than the sweetness of that cheap price!
