They are Crager brand and the largest they come in is 17 unluckily or I would be bigger too. Widest at 17 is only 9 :( although you can go wider with the smaller diameters. One benefit is they cost under $60 each, so no worries if one gets tore up a bit. I've already fixed one by driving into a 2x4.

    I'm running 17x9 with a 275/40 out back and a 17x8 with a 245/40 in the front.

Well this sucks... those who went to Carlisle will remember all the fluid I was leaking. Well it wasn't the power steering alone. Rear seal on the trans is definitely leaking. Going to throw some more fluid in there and wash her up for the night, but hopefully I will be able to get that swapped in the morning.

Fixed the rear seal once. It is leaking again although not as bad as before. Tried moving the axle back, but half inch isn't enough to clear the driveshaft from the transmission housing.

Also ran the tank dry. Thought I had another 50-100 miles left in her, but I was wrong. This fried the pump, so I've been doing some research into a fuel cell with an external pump. Need to call summit about fuel cell sizes because I want a 20 gallon, but I can't tell if the ones on the site are set up the way I want. Ordered a few fittings and a flare tool and should be ordering the rest later tonight.

I know the stock tank is vented, but none of the cells I see have a vent fitting? Should I add one or is it neccesary? I'm leaning toward yes. I also want to run a remote filler. Stock has a vent tube for this too, but again none of the fittings on the Summit site do. Is this needed too?

I have a few other projects this winter, but getting the truck drivable to move to the new place (whenever I get/find one) is priority.

I plan on putting the license plate in the gate this winter too. The plan was to cut a hole behind the plate and have the fuel filler there. The gate would still be able to fold down and the filler stand on its own and be closed out from the interior. I know what I need for this just need to find a fuel cap.

I always thought putting a fill neck / cap on the top of the cab in the back was a good idea. You could run a line down the rear pillar to the tank.

There are some trick filler caps for motorcycles (Harleys mainly) that would look good. I thought I saw one that was flush and when you pushed on the cap, it popped up.

    Just a thought . . . . . . . :D

EDIT: However, thinking about that further, it would be kind of a pain fueling. I can see gas running down the side of the Blazer. Maybe not so good.

Thanks for the ideas Toals. I do think the roof is out for me. I want it hidden, but the cap is the last thing I have yet to purchase. Just made a large order to Summit for a 16 gal cell and various fittings and grabbed a pump off eBay. All that is left is finding some 1/2" fuel line to run to the pump, the gas cap, and the fill tube.

Here is a review I wrote up awhile ago:

The plan is to be selling it by the end of the winter... for some reason, but I have had several people asking about it. I will pbly put it up to the highest bidder. We shall see.

Or you could keep it for the "other truck".......

And most all cells will have a vent on the top.
