Would the same set up work on a 4x4 or AWD? I don't know if the interchange.

Is it worth the 3500 for those rather than just a big brake kit from some of the aftermarket guys for cheaper? Im not at all trying to be an asshole, but I was just wondering because I am looking into some bigger brakes.

if you have a 4x4 you can run this kit http://cbrperformance.com/typhoon.php?Category=Typhoon

I have the ls1 brakes upfront and I have the rears waiting to go on(waiting for a ebrake bracket) I have less than $600 in the whole setup, including the converison brackets.

i got the whole setup from a guy named ed miller. he custom made adapter brackets for the front and rear. he also shaved alittle of the calipers and spindles. i am also waiting on my ebrake bracket.

this will not work on 4x4s. you might want to check on awd kits.

these brakes will not work with s10 drop spindles, but they may with regular s10 spindles. you will have to get a bracket and do some cutting for them to fit up.

You are going to pay around the same for any other kit made for s10s but the ones around this price are only 4 piston fronts and 2 piston rear. If i ever want to upgrade, i now have a much larger range of options. I can just use any corvette calipers with alittle modifying.

i am sure that this can be done cheaper, but i didn't know what i was getting into so i just payed someone to do it for me.
I know that you can use ats g-body spindles. www.t56kit.com they are a tall spindle though and will create more of a camber change than regular spindles. they are also only 1 inch drop, but they come with improved hubs to prevent bumpsteer.

actually they do work with 4x4's, but it is not a direct bolt up it takes some work. its been done several times before

well it is not a direct bolt up for any of them. the only thing that is direct is the rotors.

i know that there is not enough room for these to work on s10 drop spindles. so there should be enough on the 4x4.

i didn't read all the way through my post, i just ment that this bracket wouldn't work for the 4x4
