so i dont know were you got that info.i never even heard of a getrag!

and what you pulled out of you truck was one of two trans
    Muncie 5LM60 (Hm-290) 5 Speed
    Warner T-5 (77MM) 5 Speed

never said anything about a nv3500.

i think your mistaken. i think the trans you pulled out was a t5..it looks close to a nv 3500 but its not! a nv3500 and nv1500 shift towers are set back more not up front like yours and as for the jeep hey thats cool but thats a jeep not a s10
again you are the one who is mistaken. the new ventura gear transmission run a non detachable bellhousing, where as every teremic built trans run a detachable bellhousing.

the rearward shifter didnt start till the new style nv3500 came out in the late 97 early 98 modle year.

also go to summint racing and try and buy a shifter for a 4.3 5 speed it lists the transmission as a new ventura gear unit.

just for fun here are some pictures of a t-5 they look nothing like the picture of the nv3500 i posted earlier

oh and if you like i can scan in the page from my jtr book that shows the t5 s-10 nv3500 and fullsize nv3500 all next to each other

and come to think of it tippmann i think the trans you pulled out was a Muncie 5LM60 not a later model nv3500

    http://www.motivegear.com/tech_info/...s/nxnv3500.jpg

i stand corrected on the trans you pulled out. its not a nv3500 or t5 its a Muncie 5LM60

theres just so many changes with the trans and models so to tell you the truth i dont know whos wrong and right after readin so much shit..so i say we are both wrong and both right in the case would you have to agree..its just depends on what year of the car/truck is what verson you got..

In 1095, Pope Urban II commanded the beginning of the most heinous period ever documented: The Crusades. While killing over 100,000 Turks in 1098, the Christians "did no other harm to the women found in [the enemy's] tents - save that they ran their lances through their bellies," according to Christian chronicler Fulcher of Chartres.
