    the 8.5 is bigger and stronger 7.5s brake easy

    but seriously, larger axles with more spines and a larger ring/pinion set

    theres a 7.5 in my 355ed blazer
    and a
    8.5 in my stock v6 blazer......
    only diffreenccee i knoooww.

    the 8.5 is the best 10-bolt ever made '74-81 f-bodies,85-87 g-bodies,00-up 4.3 5spd s10.
    you will hear stories of people runnin 11s in late style f-bodies but the amount of passes are definately counted.
    you will also hear stories of Grand National owners going 10s on the stock 8.5 then there are some running in the 8s with aftermarket axles in the 8.5 and still going strong:boink:
    84 s10 X-cab,5.7/700r4,c5 wagonwheels;)
    88 s15 350/350,3800 under reconstruction:D
    96 z28 5.7,m6 a few things done:boink:
    95 z28,6.0,t400,4000stall +more:nono:

    actually its 95+ 4.3 5 speeds for the s-series

    no mark doesnt think the 350 is a challange so i figured id build a v6 turbo.
