Ignition issues after heater core replacement???

What's up guys, it's been awhile since I've been on here, but it's been a busy summer...
Anyway I went through the lovely process of replacing my heater core and after getting it back together, everything works just fine EXCEPT when I go to turn the ignition off it won't turn back to the lock position where I can remove the key... Any ideas?

No, I don't think that's possible. I followed the manual for the replacement and it does require lowering the column, but its all a solid assembly and it's only lowered about 6-10"

your neutral saftey switch might be fucked up. or it might not be dropping in park all the way. are you colum or floor shifter? try messing with the gear shifter like moving it up and down while trying to pull the key out. i had a simuler problem with my old jeep.

Wierd... I put it all back together and it's fine now... I figured I could take apart the column if I needed to but I wanted to get the dash all done first, as soon as I did that it worked fine. Thanks anyway guys.
