Do you have any other modifications to your motor, or is it stock.
Do you have any plans for your motor later?

if you going to do a cam swap, def invest in some headers and a good free flowing cat back setup, if not youll just choke the engine on the top end and be disappointed.

I put some edelbrock headers on my Bravada, and they made a big differance on the mid range power, even on a stock engine, and they were a nice 1 5/8 primary with a 2.5 crossover pipe.

Hotrod, you dont by chance know the part number of those do you? Ive been looking for a while for the edlebrocks but havent been able to find em.

I've heard that the headers work decently well with the 4.3, but I did hear that it works better with motors with work done, i.e cammed and rolled, exhaust and all that.

I believe the part number is 67153 for 98+, that part number is ti tech coated, as they dont offer the black painted ones any longer, and i had to cut off the 3 bolt flange that bolts to the cat, as my 2k had a 1 piece y-pipe assembly, and i had to add in some 2.5in pipe to get from the end of the y to the inlet to the cat, but not a big deal at all, and with the body off doing the frame swap was a very easy to get them hooked up.
