    best posi choice?

    Hey i got a 1987 s10 blazer with a 350 small block and a 700r4 tranny. Whats the easiest and cheapest way to make it posi? Thanks alot,

    Zexel Torsen from a Camaro or T/A. Bolt in and pretty relaible.

    Any posi from an early 80's Camaro or Firebird or whatever else with 7.5 rear will work. Just pay attention to axle splines. Yours should be 26, mid '88 they changed to '28 spline.

    i would stay away from zexels but thats just me.

    stock posi units are not nicknamed a gov-bomb for nothing. they tend to explode killing the ring and pinion

    im gonna agree but then say that you should try and find something from a 93-99 camaro they ran the aburn posi which is a clutch type posi unit. very strong and reliable.

    can get them for about 75-100 on ebay

    hmm, how about for my original 67 10 bolt? 8.5 rear, will a 7.5 posi unit fit?
