    Fuel Pump

    i got a 96 blazr and a 89 blazer. the fuel pump went out in the 96 is the 89 the same ??? ive done a lil searching but i just want to make sure

    A lot of people will swap in a Walbro 255 because the fuel pump assembly in these trucks is pretty expensive.

    I've read this done on Camaros and other GM products too. If you want more information try searching google. I did that when I was doing research on it and came up with a bunch of results.

    Haven't heard of that before-good find harley.

    My fuel pump went in my 95 CPI this spring, and I picked up a fuel pump at national auto parts for $90. My sending unit was all kinds of rusty, so I had to replace that as well, but with a newer truck you might be alright.

    As far as swapping, it wouldn't work. The older truck is probably TBI, which doest require nearly as much pressure as the CPI's. If I recall correctly CPI's require 60psi.
