what does everyone make of this

ok so a lil background. drove the blazer for the first tme in a few weeks. had a coolant leak at the rad end of the heater core line. fixed that was just a loose hose clamp

well tried to top off the rad and got a lot of bubbles and then it overflowed and shot out like a gyser.

so i got pics and video today.

no milkshake dipstick, and my oil level is fine. but i am loosing coolant.
i hope to god its not a headgasket

notice all the browness, never had that before i always saw green coolant :(

    lil low

    bubbles/foam

lots of moisture out the tail pipe

when i had my 4.3 in my blazer the coolant looked like that. when i put a newer 4.3 in i flushed the radiator and motor and it was still brown like that. both motors ran fines. i dont think mine was foamy like that tho.
it would be easier with more money.

usually when it foams like that it's sucking air from some where. First guess would be headgasket but a friend of mine had the intake gasket go and it begain leaking coolent and foaming.

Could be any type of gasket in the coolant system, obviously head and intake are the first choices.

Maurice, your's might be the water pump gasket didn't seal down right. But that really depends if your just getting the water and coolant out the pipe or if you have a brownish mixture in there as well.

I'm not getting anything out of the pipe, just that color in the reservoir and rad.

Replace your cap and refill. With a low level like that they will foam. Rad caps go bad al the time. Bet the spring is weak in the cap, they do have a specific weight springs in them. Just be sure you get the right cap. Best to spend 5 to 10 bucks just for safe measure than the price of replacing head gaskets first.

Save yourself a lot of guesswork, and invest in a coolant system pressure pump. It will diagnose the problem in a few seconds...
