i have installed one of these "shAIM" kits, but on an s-10, for a friend, and its just like every other bolt in kit, takes a while to drill all the holes, he has had his for probably 6 months now, no problems, and it rides good, i would advise not getting their electrical stuff, cuz that went to shit on him really quick, but all the metal stuff is good.

Granted ive never been a fan of aim shit, i dont see what is so horrible about, as someone stated its gonna be alot nicer than a bunch of "custom" shit around. The rails seem thick, on a blazer the body's take alot of stress too, hince why my v8 has but crack on all my quarter panel seems. As long as all the welds are decent i say good luck and have fun. Also the "longer bars" thing isnt a problem, if your pinion is fine at ride height it will be alright all the suicidedoor s10 links have 15.5 inch bars and all it does is pull the rearend forward more throughout the arc of movement. If the uppers and lowers are the same length or close pinion will be fine. But have fun, let others bash

Kit looks ok...only thing i would change is the diff bracket. Get a SD or KP....Not sure if it will work....but is a much better choice...Theirs goes all the way around the diff and puts even pressure on it.

those shock mounts do not look good at all. what size wheels do they claim to lay on?

id just send that right back to aim and just pay their 35% restocking fee and be done with it. youre probably gonna have a ton of pinion angle problems and issues with stuff not fitting right. BUT, if you absolutely MUST keep it and use it, at least use different bags. those aim bags WILL fall apart on you.

are you serious? they are the same design as firestones. i know people who have run them for years with out a problem. out of all the bags that i have ran, the only ones that have not given me any problems have been firestones. i have had to send back airlift bags, i have had to send back slam bags. my firestones i have are old dirt, and the only reason why i dont run them is because they arent rated for 200psi.

i dont think that with the same design, that those bags will "fall apart" its a simple design, and simplicity has worked wonders for firestone bags.
