    No inner fenders?

I took out my inner fenders tonight to get ready for the bags... I have a 89 with 4.3 and on the pass side there is a big plastic black ball hooked to a vac. line... When you guys took out your fenders what did you do with it and what is it?

its a vacuum canister, basically a storage tank for vacuum. All I can help ya with as I removed mine on the truck when I done the V8 swap so I didn't have one to move when I took out the fenders.

it stores vacuum for the hvac system and other things
you can remove it but the engine will have to run for a sec to get vacuum to open things in the hvac system

The heater switch wont work without it. Either the defrost stays on or the floor vents stay on. That has been my experiance anyway.
