Just looked through your posts and everything looks great but I had just one question, why didn't you use a Xtreme front grill that already had the cross bar molded in?

    Keep up the amazing work!

    Later, Doug

Not really a need to go out and buy a new grille for around $100-$150 when I could easily strip the fake chrome off the existing grille and primer it. Mainly just wanted to see if it was possible to do that way b/c I see so many people try and scuff the plasti-chrome and primer/paint it then it just flakes off. But to answer your question this way was free and a new grille isn't :D

Well I got the bodywork buttoned up on the driver's door last night. I think I'm getting a little better at this. I also had a broken triangle plate on the driver's mirror. These are temporary anyways b/c I am thinking about making a set of steel ones and shaving that area but still use the SS type mirror. I went ahead and epoxied the crack so I can continue to use these for now.

White and Dark Gray with either a lime green or a dark purple separator. Should look similar to this:

As for an update, its fully primered and I am taking it to get another alignment today since the shims fell out after hitting a pothole a while back. Once I get the alignment I will put the 22's back on and throw some pics up.

I wasn't going to update this thread anymore due to the lack of responses but here's one for you.

Got my new amp, its a Diablo Audio Technologies (DAT) Hellfire 2500.1

I got a little antsy and went to Lowe's and bought a sheet of birch plywood to start on the sub boxes. My uncle and I made a jig to make the circles with the router. Here's the pics:

Now I need to design the boxes and get the right dimensions so I can possible start on those next weekend.

You know you are probably right, I fooled with that for way too long then finally just gave up haha.

I bought the fiberglass resin and mat today so now I can get started on the fiberglassing! I may make strip out there tomorrow and Thursday to do the 4 layers on the inside corners so that I can start on the outside this weekend. I'm excited as hell though dreading the mess at the same time.

Now I have to figure out this mixing ratio. He told me it was 1 oz of catalyst to 1 gallon of resin. So I have to divide that out and make it into smaller batches and figure out how to measure such small amount of catalyst. Any suggestions?
