    2wd lifts

So i just traded my isuzu pup for another 96 4dr blazer. its 2wd, and i want to go up with it. what are my options for the front? i searched around online last night and only found one complete kit for $2,000 and it was a 5" suspension lift. i can do the back for cheap on my own, but the front is different. do they make lift spindles or coils? are maybe some kinda different control arms?

    3" lift spindles (blazer)

    2"-3" lift coils

And the back is child's play. I have faith in you danielson. You might want to pie cut the upper control arms so the ball joints don't bind.

Anything more than a 2-2.5" coil up front is going to wreck your ball joints (pie cut uppers or not) b/c at that point and time you have no droop travel whatsoever. To go higher than that, you need to look into a long arm kit, which will basically replace all of your front suspension.

But I do agree with the spindles and 2" coils...

Check out http://dezertdimes.com/ they're a bunch of prerunners, but they know whats up about lifting 2wds.
