    drop spindles and 18's

    i have an issue with my rims hitting the outter tie rod! anybody else have this issue?

    your rims have to much backspacing/offset. Your going to either get rims with the correct spacing or run some thing spacers. With 18s it seems to put the rim right at the tie rod knuckle, ive heard of alot of people having the problem, a little spacer should fix it though if its not to bad

    Check your tire to fender clearance and split the difference in the spacer size then round down.

    thanks! i got 1/4" spacers and it helped but i think im going to smooth out the edge of my tie rod (A.K.A. GRIND) and that should do it. the rims have 18 mm of offset but they are 8.5" rims.
