    01 4.3 A/C issues

    ok my post got deleted just as i was starting to get some answers so im going to try tis again!! below is the original post to help those that had replied!!

    i have a 01 4.3 jimmy that is a california truck and i live in texas!! when i turn on the a/c it loses power badly and sucks down gas like it was a blown big block!!! what can i do to fix this issue??? someone told me that running a underdrive pully set will help, is this true??

    do a general tune up.

    plugs, wires, cap, rotor, PCV valve.

    i suggested the Idile Air Control valve(IAC), Trottle Position Sensor(TPS), clean the Trottle Body(TB), and clean the Mass Air Flow sensor(MAF)

    Upgrade your big three to 4 guage or bigger. Made a difference in my '00 Blazer in AZ with the a/c, system, and electric fans on......
