I also went with a sealed box because I listen to pretty much every type of music, so I wanted it to be very musical and not geared to 1 specific type of music!

These pics are of the wall actually starting to become a wall

Starting to seal it off from the back using mdf and great stuff expanding foam

    Backseat up

Bad pic but this shows you what it looks like from the front

That how the front stands now, when I get time I will finish it with trip wrapped in black sueade.

    Heres the deck

I have ipod, flash drive, I can even stream music from my phone

Heres the Pioneer Indash I have

and heres the plans for the double din. I did this particular 1 for my other blaze!

sorry about the quality of this vid but I didnt have my cam this night so I used my phone. I repeat this was just a test vid to get peoples reactions at the local corner store. This vid was shot with only 1 1501d and 2 batts. In this vid the bass was floating a plastic bag in and out of the window!

Since this vid all lot more has be done I even started my engine swap(350 small block)

dam you got alot tied up in that! Id go back and double up on the box, single layer 3/4" MDF for a single chamber sealed box would still flex, even with the bolts in there. Id have gone for several smaller boxes myself
04 EC Silverado 4.8L,Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, K&N, Viper, ACT, USSpeedo, Matrix, Whelen, Blackbear, 22" Eagles, Nittos,Russel,Magnaflow
    85 S-15 2.5L/4spd, RF P1 subs, highs & T4004, JL 250/1, SD 4-link, AIM LCAs, 1/2 valves, Blazer interior, 17" Eagles w/BFGs, phantom grill, 140 amp alt

The pics and vid with it in the truck were to test how it sounds! The box will have a double baffle on the front, and the back has already seen another layer. The box has also been fiberglassed on the inside. I will post pics when I take the subs out in a couple days to do the trim panels!

Well heres a couple shots of the back, trim still needs to be covered in suede. The all thread sticking out the back of the box is part of the inside brace and also is going to double as the middle support for my amp rack. All 5 amps will be suspended kindve like they were just floating in air!

Im buildin for the street. I also left enough room in the baffle to port it if I wanted to down the road for numbers. I messed around a couple weeks ago on a friends tl meter and hit a 151.3 mic in the kick windows down though! Thats with not even tuning or anything, so I know if I do decide to port it my numbers will do nothing but climb.:D

Here is how I built my double din bezel for my blaze.

I used the Alpine screen for test fits

Cut the radio bezel out and fit the pieces of mdf I cut into it

Rivets to hold it in place

    Starting the fiberglass

Cut my whole out of the fiberglass and starting sanding

Then I decided to cover it in vinyl

Heres a pic with it in my other blaze. I decided not to use the alpine screen for it because my boy built a custom carputer for my blaze so I used it instead!

also the vinyl looks off in the pic but in person you cant tell a difference at all

These are my screens in the back also

I also kept my ac in it to. I rerouted my ac vent lines to the pocket underneath the dash. I cut a whole near the glove box and mounted a vent and the other whole is just left of my ashtray. The only bad thing is now the ac doesnt hit my face!:bang:
