22inch rims 4x4 blazer help please

Hi guys just joined to the site wish i found this site a year ago but at least i did now anyways to my question..
    First off i have a 2001 blazer 2dr 4x4

Now im looking at buying a set of rims for decent price i want to make sure they will fit with no problems i was told they will fit but thought i would ask here..
    Rim size specs .. 22x9.5 with a +15mm
now the shop said they would stick out about 3/4in but i want to make sure before i buy them..I dont understand the offset and backspacing shit lol
BTW i did use search button i just want a perfect answer to this :)
and if it matters the tire size will be 265/35/22

That is a thin enough side wall tire. It should not be too much taller than stockers overall, but the offset concerns me. If it has any kind of deep dish lip at all it's gonna stick out a lot more than 3/4" in the front. Use corvette rim sizes and offsets as a baseline for what should fit on 4x4s.

yeah what he said, 4x4 needs a minimum of a 35MM offset. 15MM would stick out like a sore thum and put wear on the bearings, need same as front wheel drive wheels, corvette or even 94 and up camaro's and BMW's. I've played around with alot of wheel options on my 4x4 lol

Dont be concerned when the fronts stick out a little further than the back, too. Its hard to notice with stock wheels but with aftermarket wheels it becomes alot easier to notice.

56mm is flush with the fenders on a first gen, second gen tucks even more, although at full lock i scrubbed frame, by the fire wall.

Well i ended up opting out on them and ordering some
22 8x5 with a 35mm offset so these will fit alot nicer correct?
Also these will fit nice with a 3inch lowering kit correct lol

Well, that's 1/2" less sticking out than before, but still a RWD rim on a FWD. It's still gonna stick out. My 19's are +79mm and still do NOT tuck.
