    Suicide Hinge Kit

so i bought a hinge kit for my blazer. i took some dimensions off of it, made some drawing and i returned the hinge kit back the kinda local parts store. (he wasnt to happy to say the least lol)

so what im wondering is...for those who have it and just bought the kit and installed it....is there anything on the kit that you wish was better or changed?

the one thing im changing is how the door hinges. the kit has it swinging just on a shoulder bolt. not the greatest idea imo. so im going to put some bearings in it so that a bolt can go through that instead

Well, maybe your new design up here after so we all don't have to do the same thing.

the autoloc kit sucks! i put one in an s10 and i only got about a 50 degrees when the door was open... defiantly lots that can be improved with them..

really? so maybe the bracket needs to be cleared out a bit so that it can swing more?

if i remember correctly there needs to be a deeper and wider box tubing and a bigger bend in the hinge for it to swing more...

I thought the newer Auto-loc kits were supposed to swing full 90?
