Thanks. It's making good progress. Time for body mounts, fuel cell, shocks and a couple small things then the body goes back on. Hopefully make a debut at LOATP.
    Gets plenty of lift

And the plans for the 5.3 which will be started after layd out. Just have to figure out how to run the turbo because I don't have enough room in front in the blazer. Not bad on the wallet though.

Yeah. that turbo is going to be tricky. Not alot of room in there once you put the V8 there.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to figure out. Gonna be a tight fit. That motor was a build on hot rod magazine. They got 594hp and 570 ft lbs of torque @ 12psi with a junk yard 5.3 and a Chinese turbo off eBay. My plan is to buy the cheap turbo to at first just for mock up and to save some funds then once it's running buy a nice Borg Warner. Turbo is huge though 76mm.

It depends on what pic you are talking about... there are 3 different bumpers in this thread. The first one is a street scene bumper.. the second one is a stock 98+ jimmy bumper... the third one is a 98+ envoy bumper.

Looks sick. Good plan on using the chinese knock-off for mock up only. I have never heard any good stories from a cheap ebay turbo, but I can dig you up tons of threads about horror stories with those things.
