    Manual Steering Box

Does anyone know where I can buy a new s10 manual steering box? Who makes the best one?

GM part # is 07845260 for the 1st gen trucks, but it has been discontinued. I passed one through my hands in a trade/money deal I made with a couple people. That's all I got for you though.

If that doesn't work go to any of the big parts stores or websites and look up manual steering gear for a 1991 s10. Any motor should work, but I used 2.8 when I found it just now.

I was stuck in the advance parking lot for a couple hours earlier today and forgot to even ask em if they could get one.
I'm not sure if the manual box has appeal for making it easier to lay out or something, I just want one because everything else is manual on the truck and the power steering leaks...

I bought one at Oreilly, they s10 ones were on backorder but I found one for a left hand drive postal jeep. Its reman. by A1 cardone, part no. 27-5000. I paid like 125 with my employee discount but regular price was like $179

I don't know what a manual steering s10 feels like but I have a smaller than stock steering wheel and 20s and its not all that bad. It only sucks when I have to turn the wheels when fully stopped and even then its not that bad.
