    Exhaust...

Has anybody here put Aero-Turbine muffler on there 4.3l? Im planning on putting a 3" single exhaust on my Blazer and have been looking for something other than Flowmaster. From my research they seem llike well engineered mufflers and sound great on other vehicles. Looking for input and experience. Not sure If Ill get long tubes or this-http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-68563/

i dont have any experience with that setup but i personally like the dynomax ultra flow.

headman long tubes modded to clear the t56 slave cylinder. 2.25" y pipe that connects after the trans, 3" extension pipe, 3" dynomax ultra flow, and a 3" tail pipe.

this is the same basic setup but with a real motor

shorty swap headers, 2.5" y pipe that connects after trans. the same extension pipe muffler and tail pipe that were on the v6

Sounds decent. Although I'm not a huge fan of packed mufflers Dynomax puts out good flow #'s... I went ahead and got the muffler, I guess when I get it on I'll post up some sound clips... Hope I didnt waist my $ lol

sounds decent, a full tailpipe would make it sound better.

Yeah I want to get the sound out from underneath. I want a side exit but that doesnt seem to be practical on these trucks unless you punch a hole in the frame lol. I may just put a tailpipe on later. Its a project, projects are never done....
