well I would sell the car, but I run alot of demolition derbies, and thats what i plan to use the car for. Its only got around 80,000 miles. So i may just end sending all the stuff, or may end up putting it in the blaze. I havent decided fully yet.
Only this is I have all the swap parts for an older 350, and i dunno if they will work on this motor or not (headers and v8 conversion motor mounts). Its a 4wd blazer but the front diff. has been taked out.

350 headers and motor mounts work with the LT1s.

IMO Daily driver needs fuel injection and a working lockup convertor.

    Weekend toy can be either.

Not a lot of difference between an LT1 vs an LS so run what you own.

Are there any pictures of blazer with lt1's on this site like to see how they fit and look. By that meaning hood clearence and space from radiator. My core support is already recesed forward so i should have plenty of room

this is what we are talking about......I had to research it when I found out

    it's like a 305 to a 350

    4.3L LT1 or a 5.7L LT1

V8s that look the same, but not the same at all

The VIN for the 4.3 LT1 is W and the 5.7 LT1 is P. The Buick Roadmasters only came with the 5.7 LT1. You've got a great candidate to swap into the Blazer. Keep the Buick and put something bigger in it...:D

the 4.3L that everyone is talking about is the L99.

    calling it a 4.3L lt1 creates a lot of un-needed confusion.

what kinda transmission is best to run behind these things. Dunno which tranny is in the buick, havent gotten to tear it apart yet. Would it be worth keeping behind it or should i go with something different.

Id love to have OD because I'll be driving it on the street quit a bit
