Gas tank hits ground when aired out...

haha I think that will be a little problem...

My front isn't bagged yet and its only got around a 4 inch drop up front, so when the back is aired out, gas tank is sitting on the ground...

I know this problem has got to be familiar with some of you guys, lol.

    Oh, its a '91 2 door.

Could I grab a stock tank from a car or something of the like that would be a little shorter that I could make work...

Or would it be less hassle and better to get a fuel cell... how much would a complete setup run... ??

    thanks everyone.:D

Is it the actual tank scraping or the black plastic tank protector?

When you get the front "aired" the rear will raise up (level out) some.
The gas tank protector clears the gas tank by at least 1-1/2".

I'm actually not sure if it's the plastic or the actual tank, I've not gotten it back yet so I will just have to see... But nobodys tank here actually lays on the ground? Cause my blaze looks pretty damn low now lol..

it is certainly b/c your front is so high up. Once the front is done it should be a few inches off the ground when layed out
