What brand are the best for shocks?

Which good brand of shocks can replace my stock shocks, but that can handle 22" rims?

all in personal preference. i ran some monroe sensetracs in back and i liked them. 22" rims are a mute point since thats unsprug weight and wont have an effect on shocks unless you are jumping terraces getting air.

edelbrock ias shocks work pretty good too, my dad got them for his 78 and they ride good, but they are expensive.

    Love my Bilsteins.

I put a set of Edelbrocks on a full size lowered truck and hated them...they always felt mushy.

    Yes sir, front G7720. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G7720/

    Rear, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BEL-2412IF/

I had 3" Belltech springs on my last Blazer, 4.3 everything the same except for the 5 speed.

I can say that the DJM's ride better for sure, sporty and handle good but not overly stiff. and they even came with poly bumpstops for the front so i didn't have to trim the stockers.

Oh and i went with this shock set up because it was recommended by NORCALSS on s10forum. he has been lowering s10's for close to 20 years and has tried every shock in the book and likes this set up for blazers if you want a good ride. he said the summit rear shocks are too stiff but if thats what you're lookin for you can save a few bucks.

He is also a dealer for DJM and belltech and beat the lowest price i could find shipped by $10. ordered my DJM stuff tues night and it was on my doorstep thursday.

    Hope this helps you out
