    yeah if it wasn't 50* here in FL I would have painted the screws.....but they are on my list for the next junkyard run

    I wonder if you could find a socket head in the same size bolt. IMO would look cleaner than a philips.

    I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow to see about some allen head screws.........I want something low profile and smooth like the stock screws so I don't kill my fingers when I grab the handle

    I found some sheet metal or dry wall screws (have to find the package) and they look just like the stock screw but they are silver and look great with the handle savers. I'll get a pic of them once it stops raining and I don't need a flash on the camera.

    Has anyone polished a set of these? I have alot of polished parts inside my truck and I think this would make it look even better.

    I could try polishing a set... they're awfuly small to be able to hold safely. I guess I could have some made from polished stock & just touch them up too.
