I don't know the story but I have seen it in person several times. It's good stuff.

little off topic but ive been trying to find pics of a 1st gen with the ss bumper and airdam off the newer ss trucks.

I was thinking about it, but it may be a little overwealming size wise, so cuting it up and incorporating the lower half of the ss for an airdam and keep the stock bumper may be a better looking option.

i think that would HAVE to be used with the painted bumper.

exactly what I want to do to mine. Looks way better on the blazer also. I seen another blazer on minitruckin with the swap but did not like but it was because of the bumper. This bumper is much better

is that front clip bolt on or is there a lot of work to get it on ??

love the look. plus I need both fenders and thinking of taking of my custom cowl hood. so getting a front clip is no biggy as long as its a bolt on.

that kind of mod is in no way shape or form bolt-on. takes alot of metal fab to graft the 2 different front ends together to make it seamless...

ya I did not think so. after I posted I was thinking about it and it hit me that I know its wider then the dime and sure looks longer also.
well if I have a shop or garage I would do it as I have no problem with a cutting wheel and welder
