    Shallow mount subs

    Which brand would you guys suggest I was thinking either pioneer or mtx

    Pioneer all day over the mtx! They can handle more power and they sound way cleaner!

    I had a buddy who had 2 shallow pioneers in a standard cab and they souned good.

    I have a kicker cvt8 in my bd'ed single cab...it beats pretty good actually...I was pleasantly surprised.

    Little late to the party on this one, but for overall sound quality, I've yet to hear anything nicer than the Alpine Type R shallow subs.

    I had two type s 12s in my crew can silver ado they sounded great
