    Arrow Opinions PLEASE!

well...I need some opinons on Air bags guys. I want them very badly...love them and will be able to afford them soon. BUUUUT, I live in Calgary where we have some seriously cold and snowy winters. I guess what I am asking is this....Will the bags hold up in the winter? would it be stupid to subject my truck to such torture? I know this is a pretty stupid batch of questions but i dont know too many people with bags. and the ones that have them put them in the garage for the winter. I would really love to hear input from professionals and others with bags. CAN IT BE DONE? by the way this is my only vehicle. maybe i might have to just get a beater for the winter.

There aint a problem with runnin bags in the winter. As you know the firestones are designed as a ride rite bag and I know people that use them on stock trucks for haulin their sleds to the mountains in the winter to level there rides with the weight of the decks and sleds.

Not really a couple of the guys did a truck for a kid and he drove it in the winter and he didnt have any problems with it. I would chose not to drive it myself in winter, not because of the bags but because of the chance of gettin in an accident with the shitty roads.

What about unfreezing the air lines? I was reading some editorial guy in the begining of mini truckin one time. It was like a list of all the shit hes has to do being a minitrucker....like has to have all these extra things incase something breaks....

he was saying waking up early to unfreeze the lines....

what are your feelings on hydrolics. Are they cheaper or more expensive than bags...better or worse ride, faster or slower, abilty to hop...etc

    Hydrolics are a pain man....
WAY!! mort maintience...Nasty Hydro Oil everywhere...Plus it rides like CRAP, Bags can just be as fast...Yes you can hope in bags high as a hydro setup if you put nitrogen on ...Also with bags you can lay FRAME : ) and make sparks and scare people as you drive down the road with lettin some air out hehe.....Dont get my wrong hydros are sweet...But Bags are the way to go ...Also if you get a Filter in your bag setup it will take that water and filter it out for you..... That is my o Two ...

I agree with Blazing but in defence to the hydo guys if you run accumulators on the hydros your vehicle will ride just as good as a bagged vehicle...and you can lay and drag on hydros too. But bags are better :)
