Today I had some help from aidan and mpeace on here. We did the suicide hood on the jimmy that's I've needed help with. We got it done but I may need to find another hood to do a better job.

Out with the old and in with the new. Had a friend that had a nice steering wheel then what I had. Been looking for it for a while. I also picked up a driveshaft so I can get it shortened and put it on the jimmy.

Went to a local car show and had a blast there with it. While I was there a friend of mine did some pinstripping on the tailgate. He did the horn button too. It's now got the gmc letters in red along with the little horn symbol on it too.

Got another update. A friend in texas made me a nice set of armrest for the jimmy. I managed to find a radio bezel that didn't have a rear window popper button which was fine. Only cost me $5 and it gave me the change to put in a new button to replace the ugly stock one. I haven't decided if I'm going to paint the bezel or not but I have a red button coming for it too.

Finally got to do something. I got a new radio surround that was gray and didn't have a rear window button. It was from a pickup. So I bought a red button to replace the old ugly one on there, then I painted the surround black with the plastic trim paint. It's not a pro job but it looks better. Oh I also moved over the gps to put the xm radio in a better spot. But now I need to look for a better radio with bluetooth and a better xm radio. Mine seems to have a short in it.

Got more done today thanks to some emergen-c. It's caffeine free but It gave me some energy. I got everything changes out except for the ac compressor. I'm going to change it in the morning and work on getting it serviced. Been a productive day for once. Now to deal with the pain, lol.

Here's all 4 rims painted. Still have to get caps. I hope to get 17"s in the future. But for now it's the 15".

Here's the newset thing I've been working on. I have to order two amber led strips before I seal them up.

Here's a update from today. Worked out great. I didn't need to use resistors either. I expected the to get a light out code on the dash like I did last time when I used a bulb that plugged into the socket. I left the socket on but tied into the wires with the leds. I have two white strips in each case and one amber strip in each case.I sealed each case to prevent water from getting into the case. First time for doing something like this.
